Setup & Logistics

What type of surface can the wedding castle be installed on?
The castle can be set up on: Grass (preferred) Concrete or paved surfaces (with sandbags) Timber decking (with protection sheets) Indoors (with sufficient height clearance) We do not recommend setup on gravel, soft sand, steep slopes, or wet/muddy ground. If unsure, just send us a site photo.

How long does setup take?
Setup usually takes 30–45 minutes, and pack-down is typically 30 minutes. We'll coordinate with your venue or wedding planner to ensure a smooth process.

What are the power requirements?
One standard 10A power outlet within 20 m of the setup site is required. We supply: All cables and power boards RCD safety switch Heavy-duty, quiet running blower If power is not available, generator hire is available upon request.

Can I request staff to supervise the castle during the event?
Yes—we offer professional supervision at an hourly rate for peace of mind, especially for children’s play or high-traffic times.

Do I need to supervise if I don’t hire a staff member?
Yes. If you opt not to hire a supervisor, you must nominate a responsible adult to monitor use at all times. We’ll provide a quick safety briefing at setup.

Yes. Adelaide Starlight Entertainment holds $10 million in public liability insurance, and all our operators are trained in event safety and installation.

Is there a damage bond or security fee?
We may request a refundable bond for certain bookings. You’re responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Clear care instructions will be provided.
